Boss fight tips: 1) General aspects: Paladin's burden (aka Isaac's brother) is fast and most of his melee attacks are unpredictable (hard to know when he'll continue his chain attack, stop, kick you, or parry you). Also, it's tricky to parry him due to his posture. However keep in mind that two things are certain: first, he'll stop from time to time using only one spell attack (just run) or to heal (attack him so he doesn't recover wither health); second, it is doable to keep your distance, and his chain attacks leave you some time to create safe space between you two. 2) For this fight I went with throwables, using the Poison Javelin and the Bloodbane Ring ("inflicting poison buildup simultaneously inflicts bleed buildup"). Add some melee hits here and there, use the javelin to suppress his spells (it doesn't always work), and don't forget to equip your ammunition satchels. Throw the javelin until it poisons him (and repeat as many times as necessary), it usually takes 4 or 5 hits. Throw more times to get some bleeding at some point.
