My SHTF Panic Room Philosophy of Use During SHTF, you'll need somewhere safe and secure to either hide or store your valuable equipment. Here's my panic room and my use case ideas. Any panic room needs a strong and secure point of entry. Thanks to MidwayUSA for providing the SnapSafe Vault Door shown in this video. It was very easy to install and is extremely secure. Not to mention it's supposedly EMP proof but also comes with backup keys just in case. You never know if you'll need to hide from danger, take shelter during a storm or leave your valuables behind in a secure location during an emergency. Having a vault / panic room can provide all of that for you.
