In this video, we see Christoph Rheinland responding to a call on December 10, 2024, at around 8:25 AM in Meckenheim. The incident involved a roofer who suffered a severe accident while working on the premises of the Theodor-Heuss Secondary School in Meckenheim. The injured person was then flown to the University Hospital in Bonn. This helicopter was initially registered by Airbus Helicopters for air testing purposes under the registration D-HADP and was fully painted for ADAC in January 2015. On February 17, 2015, it was re-registered in Germany under the registration Delta Hotel Delta Mike (D-HDOM) to ADAC Luftrettung GmbH. By the end of May 2015, the helicopter was still in Hangelar with ADAC Luftfahrt Technik for further adjustments. From June to the end of July 2015, it was temporarily operated by Reiser Simulation & Training GmbH (RST) to collect flight data. According to the RST website, these flight tests were conducted to generate the necessary data for developing a simulator flight model for the H145 helicopter. The tests focused on the handling qualities, flight performance, and overall dynamic behavior of the H145. For data collection, RST installed its then-newly developed flight test instrumentation, which offered high data acquisition rates, precision, proven reliability, compact dimensions, and low weight. The helicopter entered emergency medical service (EMS) operations in August 2015. In December 2015, it was redecorated with an illustration of Cologne Cathedral on its cowling. It was subsequently operated as Christoph (75) Rheinland until the morning of August 30, 2023. However, operations were temporarily halted due to a technical issue while the helicopter was on a mission in Speyer. To address the problem, the aircraft was flown back to Hangelar for repairs. During this time, its sister helicopter, registered as D-HEMS, replaced it to ensure the continuity of essential EMS missions for Christoph 75 Rheinland. The helicopter returned to service on September 5, 2023, and resumed operations as Christoph 75 Rheinland. Thank you for watching!
