This comes as calls mount for white cop Derek Chauvin to be charged with murder after he knelt on George Floyd's neck before he passed out and died and protests enter their third day in Minneapolis over his death. County attorney Mike Freeman condemned the officer's actions as 'horrific and terrible' but warned of 'other evidence that does not support a criminal charge'. He urged the community for patience as the authorities now have to prove the force used on Floyd was 'excessive'. The four Minneapolis officers involved in the arrest of Floyd were fired Tuesday.
