Samurott is one of the 3 starter Pokémon to receive a regional form first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the first more traditional Pokémon game where this form can be used! Hisuian Samurott gains an additional typing in Dark, which grants this Pokémon an immunity to Psychic type attacks! Its Hidden Ability has been swapped from Shell Armor to Sharpness! Like the other starters, it gained its own signature move in the form of Ceaseless Edge! This is a Base 65 Attack that sets up a layer of Spikes, and it's also boosted by the Sharpness ability! Compared to Unovan Samurott: it has 5 less Base Points in HP and Defense, also has 8 less Base Points in Special Attack. However, it gained 8 Base Points in Attack, 5 Base Points in Special Defense, and 15 Base Points in Speed!
