I own nothing in the video. I edit because I enjoy it. This video was made as part of Scrub In 2018 where you could write a FanFiction or produce something arty for a fanfic. This is my interpretation of ImLittleSparrows fanfic and below is the overview I received. Sparrows fic is here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/159... The colouring in this is supposed to be like this to show the traffic light theme in the Fanfic. Overview: [Mature] The Doctor & 4 Warning: Themes around OCD, alcoholism and mentions of recurring death. The alcoholism is mainly focused in a short internal monologue which might be distressing for some to read. Introduced instantly to how Dylan looks after Rihanna until a phone call from Louise informs him that his father is back and in very poor health but he isn't being kept in the ED and no one knows he is there apart from Louise. The story then takes a leap through time in order to explore Dylan's OCD from an early age such as being in the car with his father with the earliest memories of fear he felt around traffic lights and his first hospital rotation with Miriam Turner. Fragments then explore how well Dylan coped with Cal's death after just managing to get a grasp on his OCD before falling to pieces once he discovers his father had passed away in the hospital before finding the courage to visit. He meets a young patient who is struggling to communicate and whilst Dylan is on the verge of falling apart himself he manages to comfort the girl after an initially toxic encounter by introducing her to Dervla which allows him to then examine her and make a diagnosis which pleases Louise who was previously frustrated with Dylan's approach. Dylan spirals into his alcoholism before finally confining in Zsa Zsa during a desperate phone call who convinces him to reach out to anyone who he feels able to. This person turns out to be David Hide. David supports Dylan in visiting his fathers grave before they briefly touch over a few things on a list produced by Dylan which states thing such as wanting to mentor Bea during his recovery. The story ends on what at first looks like strong progress and a skype call with Zsa Zsa until Dylan hangs up in a flustered panic only to instantly collapse back into old ways. (Side Note: The story has subtle small hints towards traffic lights throughout where we get an indication of how Dylan is feeling such as whiskey being Auburn, school bags being green or blood being red, etc.)
