The vehicle appears to be based on the Siemens P2000 used on the LA Metro C Line. The unmodded Metrotrain is depicted with a relatively short chassis, using twin-axle bogies. It is powered by electricity (hence driven by EMUs), as shown by the overhead pantographs which transmit power from overhead electric cables down to the train's systems. It sports a white and red livery and is operated by Los Santos Transit. Its unmodded speed is at around 18 mph (29 kph), which is rather slow.
