In this video, I asked if there really are dating leagues. I often hear people say that one person is out of another person's league or vice versa in terms of attraction. The implication is that attractiveness is objective and can be ranked or measured based on someone's looks or qualities. Is all of this true? Or are dating leagues simply something we've made up because of our obsession with evaluating people's attractiveness? Also, when people talk about leagues, are they just talking about physical attractiveness, or do they include personality as well? Do we conform to dating people that are seen as having about an equal level of attractiveness to us because we're afraid of what others will say or think?
