One in 25 of our brave veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan war is likely to develop PTSD. Here we speak to Corporal Hannah Campbell, an Iraq veteran who lost one of her legs during service. She lives with PTSD and, as she describes in this short film, it can strike at any time. This film contains references to PTSD which some individuals may find distressing. The Veterans’ Foundation was founded in 2016 and is one of the most important funders of military charities in the UK. Since inception, it has provided over £35 million in grants to more than 500 different organisations. Please help us give more by joining the National Veterans’ Lottery: https://www.veteransfoundation.org.uk... The projects it helps to fund are life-changing, and life-saving, which is why the Veterans’ Foundation has become one of the most respected military charities in the country. The Veterans’ Foundation supports initiatives that combat homelessness, mental health and PTSD. The charity also funds projects that help former servicemen and women to retrain for civilian life; it helps veterans recover from physical injury; and the charity also helps bereaved forces children and youngsters of those in service. When you support the Veterans’ Foundation, you don't just support one charity - you support hundreds. Please help us support those in need and be in with the chance to win £75,000 every month: https://www.veteransfoundation.org.uk...
