Hearthstone: KotFT: Priest vs The Lich King

The Lich King is the final boss of Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion solo adventure. He gains different advantages when facing different classes, so specific strategy is needed for each class. Beating him the first time gives you a free pack of KotFT cards. If you are able to beat him with all nine classes, you get the young Arthas Paladin hero portrait! Phase one: His initial Hero Power is summon a 2/2 Ghoul. On his first turn, he casts a powerful spell that gives him big advantage. What spell he casts depends on the class you are playing. Priest is the only exception because the spell for Priest only "mute" you, make you unable to emote for the whole game! (Actually you still can and it is quite funny. ;) ) Phase two: On his seventh turn, he equips the Frostmourne sword which removes all his minions, and summon six 2/6 Trapped Soul minions. His Hero Power changes to passive that gives him Immune as long as he control a Trapped Soul. Phase three: Once all the Trapped Soul are killed, Frostmourne is destroyed automatically and the Lich King becomes vulnerable again. His minions removed when he equiped the Frostmourne are resummoned with full health. More importantly, his Hero Power changes to "Deal 1 damage to the enemy hero. +1 Damage each time." This means his Hero Power will gradually do more and more damage, so you need to kill him before such damage becomes too high! Also, he sometimes summons a 0/5 minion that destroy one of your minion randomly at the start of his next turn. Other powerful minions he may summon include The Black Knight, Maexxna and Bonemare. Strategy for Priest: During phase one, try to gain board control with spells and your minions but always keep board clear spell(s) for phase two. You can use Shadow Word: Horror (kills all minions with 2 or less attack) to immediately kill all the Trapped Soul in phase two and bring you to phase three. Alternatively, you can summon Doomsayer on your seventh turn so that he will destroy the Trapped Soul at the start of your eighth turn. If you do not have these cards, you can try using combo of other AoE spells and +spell damage minions. Having enough healing is important to buy time for your minions to kill the boss. I used Priest's Quest card: Awaken the Makers and Greater Healing Potion in the video. Also, Priest's stealing cards such as Mind Vision, Thoughtsteal, etc, are helpful because you may steal boss' powerful cards!
