On August 12, 2017 during Ananda Village's annual Summer Spiritual Renewal Week, we had a landmark groundbreaking ceremony with over 400 people for our new Ananda Temple of Light. More than 100 volunteers helped to make the Groundbreaking Celebration for the Temple of Light come alive with the joy of our Masters last Saturday night. Located across the meadow from the Expanding Light Retreat it will be a beacon of blessings to the world Opening Ceremony expected at Ananda’s 50th anniversary celebration in August of 2019. PhotoKent is a card carrying certified old fart who also happens to be a yogi living in a cooperative community called Ananda Village in the sierra foothills of northern California. Formerly Nomadic, having circumnavigated the USA in his small RV, he enjoys photography, trains and gadgets. Seeking the light and love wherever it may lead. He recently returned to photography as an amateur in order to learn how to see. Always seeking inspiration and uplifting experiences and photos. He is experimenting with simple videos using his iphone and DJI mavic quadcopter.
