Hot off the release of "Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You", Ethel Cain brought the tour to the famed Radio City Music Hall. Having been an opener for Caroline Polachek here just a few years prior, it was now Ethel's shot to be the star of the show. I checked for tickets on the day of the show and was surprised to find this face value aisle seat in orchestra row CC. I figured it would allow a clear line of the sight for recording and I was right! My friend Carlo and I lined up early to get in and get merch, and boy are we glad we did, as the merch lines only got longer and longer. After the opener finished, I went down to the bathrooms and saw a lot of the merch had already sold out! No copies of the vinyl though, even though Rough Trade was selling them right across the street. Odd.
