Heading to Russia’s NORTH! ❄️ Retro Steam Train to Karelia 🚂

One of the most common ways to travel around Russia is by train! 🚂 But there’s only ONE daily steam-powered passenger train left in Russia, and it takes you to Ruskeala Mountain Park! 🗻 For me, the Ruskeala Express is Russia’s Polar Express, the ride is just as magical as the winter wonderland outside its windows. Feel like a noble as you sit inside your royal carriage, and eat some Kalitkas to get a taste of Karelia. The Ruskeala Mountain Park is not just enchanting, it also has history behind every marble stone 🪨 Its caves even helped build the city of Saint Petersburg!
