Inside McCall’s Pumpkin Patch 2025 🎃 New Mexico’s Ultimate Fall Experience!

Our family goes to McCall’s Pumpkin Patch every single year, so it’s basically a fall tradition at this point! We like to go early in October before the Halloween rush, because it definitely gets busier closer to the end of the month. The pumpkins are reasonably priced, and you actually get to go out and pick your own at the end, which is half the fun. One of our favorite parts of McCall’s Pumpkin Patch is feeding the goats - they’re always so friendly and full of personality! We always end up spending more time there than we planned. The train ride is another must, it’s such a relaxing (and scenic) way to see the whole farm, and it gives you a cool behind-the-scenes look at everything from the pumpkin fields to the haunted area. And of course, the maze is a total blast every single year! It’s always different, which keeps it exciting, and finding that lookout tower in the middle is like a mini adventure all on its own. We tried the dig zone (so much fun!) and noticed they keep adding new stuff every year! I’m all about that. The staff was friendly, the grounds were spotless, and even the grandparents we “forced” to come with us had such a blast they asked for an invite next year. Only thing I’d tweak would be to maybe include a little more with the base admission instead of so many add-on costs. But honestly, if you go in with realistic expectations, it’s a full day of family fun. We skipped the haunted/scary part since my wife’s not a fan of jump scares, but the train ride gave us a sneak peek of that side and it looked awesome for those who are braver than us.
