Welcome to the Python Programming – Complete Course (New Series) by Burle Sharma. In this class (2.18), I give you a programming assignment based on a problem that we have already solved earlier in a simple form. Now it’s time to think like a programmer. 📘 Problem Statement Write a program to: • Accept a student’s roll number, name, and marks of 3 subjects • Calculate total marks and percentage • Assume each subject’s full mark is 100 • Display the division based on percentage: ✔ Percentage ≥ 60 → 1st Division ✔ Percentage ≥ 50 → 2nd Division ✔ Percentage ≥ 35 → 3rd Division ✔ Otherwise → Fail 🧠 What’s Different in This Video? This time, you must not write a simple solution. Instead, you are required to add validations on your own. To guide you, I have provided a list of possible validations that you must consider while writing your program. ✅ Validations You Should Think About ✔ Marks should be within valid range (0–100) ✔ Negative marks should not be accepted ✔ Percentage calculation must be accurate ✔ Logical conditions must not overlap ✔ Invalid inputs should be handled properly ✔ Program should not give incorrect division You may add more validations based on your understanding. 🎓 Learning Objectives of This Video • Improve problem-solving skills • Practice control statements deeply • Learn how to design programs with validations • Understand real-world data handling • Prepare for exams and interviews • Shift from beginner thinking to logical thinking 🚀 Important Note 📌 Do not skip this assignment In the next video, I will solve this same program with all required validations, and you will be able to compare: ✔ Your approach ✔ My approach ✔ Different ways to solve the same problem #Python #PythonAssignment #BurleSharma #StudentResultProgram #PythonNewSeries #ProgrammingPractice #PythonValidation #ControlStatements #geecoding
