https://asimplyfab.life/ 1977 Volkswagen T2 camper! Perhaps the kindred spirit to the Defender. Designed as a workhorse that has had many iterations and ends up doing similar things. Most notably being uber-cool 😎🤘. The van itself is awesome - and we seriously considered one - but what impressed me greatly were their stories of travels through Europe for the past four decades😮. We found a pretty small little camping slightly off the well-known roads somewhere in northern Spain, overlooking the cool city of Coruna and the Atlantic beyond. What do we find parked next to us but a couple from Switzerland who had a whole lot of stories to tell. They have travelled extensively throughout Europe (west and east even in the eighties) and even South America. This one has been restored to original campervan spec having been found in Italy. I found the simplicity really cool and refreshing considering how 'glammed up' we are these days. And it has the old flat-four producing just 50 HP! Have a listen and maybe learn something...
