This is my Honey Baked Chicken Breasts Recipe -- you can also use thighs. Enjoy! Ingredients: Honey Baked Chicken Breasts Serves: 4 4 large chicken breast halves, bone-in, about 3 pounds (or 8 chicken thighs with bones and skin) ½ cup honey 6 tablespoons brown sugar, packed 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar 4 teaspoons lite soy sauce 4 large chicken breast halves, bone-in, about 3 pounds (or 8-10 chicken thighs with bones and skin) 2/3 cup flour 2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoon thyme (Can use powder or dried leaf if you don't have thyme you can substitute with tarragon or marjoram) 2 teaspoon paprika ½ teaspoon ground black pepper 4 tablespoons butter 4 tablespoons canola oil (can use olive or vegetable oil) Instructions: 1. Heat oven to 400°. 2. Combine the honey, brown sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and set aside. 3. Combine the flour, salt, thyme (tarragon or marjoram), paprika, and pepper in a food storage bag; add chicken pieces and shake to coat. 4. Put melted butter and oil in a baking dish. Place the chicken in the baking dish, turning with tongs until coated with the butter and oil mixture. Arrange the chicken breasts (or thighs), skin side up; bake for 20 minutes. Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and continue baking for 20 to 30 minutes, basting a few times. The chicken should register at least 165° in the thickest part, not touching bone.
