Nurturing and protecting our little ones comes second nature and at the heart of everything we do. We now know how important it is to offer our planet the same protection so we can all enjoy its precious gifts for many generations to come. Little Buds Forest is a first step in our commitment to doing our bit to help create a greener and more sustainable future. Our goal is to plant native trees across Ireland and UK to restore beautiful natural habitats for wildlife to flourish and thrive. Our promise… Our pledge is to plant a tree for every Baby Elegance cot or cot bed purchased. We hope to plant 25,000 native trees over the next 12 months. First but not the last… 3rd June 2021 – a date to remember. Check out our first ever Little Buds Forest in Co. Roscommon in the west of Ireland where we planted 6,500 broad leafed native oak trees. Why we love trees… Roscommon is 2.24 hectares and will capture an estimated 1,478 tonnes of CO2 over its lifetime. By planting broadleaf oak trees, we hope to restore natural habitats for red squirrels, stoats, birds and other native wildlife.Revitalising native woodlands bring so many great benefits to our environment and local communities such as reducing flood risk, soil conservation, boosting biodiversity and more.
