In this video I will demonstrate how I use FreeCad, an open source parametric CAD modeling program, to design a backplate (or backstop as it's sometimes referred to as) for your Xtool RA2 Pro Rotary attachment. The backplate is designed to keep your cylindrical objects perpendicular to the rotary chuck jaws so you get a perfect engrave every single time. This backplate is especially useful for engraving tumblers and allows for easy batch processing as well.
