After I've tested a sharp steel version and had it modified into something I find more practical, it's now time to try out a synthetic trainer in actual practice fights against a resisting opponent. Conceptually it fits well in the hands of "Viking space orcs" in the Star Trek universe. It's badass looking, intimidating, and unique. So I was pleasantly surprised to find that it did even better than I expected against another bat'leth. In the next video we'll see how it goes against a different weapon (a longsword as well as a two-handed Dane axe, as a rough approximation to a Vulcan Lirpa).
