Air Date: Wednesday 2-18-26 Time: 8 PM EST Platform: Do Tha Knowledge Radio Host: Knowledge Born Allah Tonight on Do Tha Knowledge Radio, we enter a necessary, transparent, fact-finding conversation to separate truth from misinformation surrounding the Foundational Black American (FBA) designation. With a panel of actual FBA members and lineage-based voices, we move beyond internet narratives and social media talking points to examine history, delineation, reparations, and what the future holds for Black Americans whose ancestry traces directly to U.S. Freedmen. Foundational Black Americans are the descendants of those who survived American chattel slavery and built this nation through forced labor, resistance, and ingenuity. The lineage did not begin in 1619 alone. In 1526, enslaved Africans brought by Spanish colonizer Lucas Vázquez de Ayllón to the South Carolina–Georgia coast revolted, dismantling that early settlement and integrating with Native communities, a pivotal yet often overlooked chapter in Black American origins. This episode clarifies a crucial point: FBA is not an organization, political party, or hierarchy with leadership. It is a lineage designation for more than 43 million Black Americans descended from U.S. Freedmen. We examine how that lineage relates to the ongoing fight for reparations and why delineation is central to policy discussions. This will be an open, structured, no-nonsense exchange. We honor our ancestors while addressing present-day realities with clarity and discipline.
