About 15-20% of the people that have migraines will experience a migraine with aura. This can very scary as you see weird lights and experience some loss of vision. This visual aura in your vision can last 30 minutes and sometimes longer. This aura in your vision is usually seen in both eyes. This video has many different migraine aura simulations as well. Sometimes you can have it in one eye if you are dealing with an ocular migraine or a retinal migraine. Dr. Guymon will go over the leading theory of what happens in your brain when you experience this visual migraine.
