For there is no worship except through monotheism. The author mentioned here "the virtue of monotheism". Know that the fact that something is considered virtuous does not necessarily mean that it is not obligatory. Mentioning something as virtuous means its effects and consequences. If we say that there is virtue in tawheed, this does not mean that tawheed is not obligatory. With this rule that we have established, and which we have already discussed, the weakness of the argument of those who said that congregational prayer is not obligatory is evident, based on the Prophet’s saying PBUH: (Salat in congregation is better than a Salat performed individually) He said: The fact that it is better is evidence that it is not obligatory. It is said: The fact that something is considered virtuous does not necessarily mean that it is not obligatory; rather, it is obligatory and contains virtue. Monotheism is the most obligatory of obligations, and deeds are not accepted except through it, and the servant does not draw near except through it, yet it contains virtue. The author will mention some of his virtues that are indicated by the verse and the hadiths. His statement: "And what expiates sins," is connected to what? To virtue, or to monotheism? Let's see: If we say it's connected to "monotheism”, the meaning becomes: the chapter on the virtue of monotheism and the virtue of what expiates sins. Does that make sense or not? It doesn't make sense. If we say it is connected to "virtue", the meaning becomes: the chapter on the virtue of monotheism and the chapter on what expiates sins. Does this make sense or not? It makes sense. And the chapter on what expiates sins: because this chapter was opened for two reasons: To explain the virtue of monotheism. And to explain what sins are expiated by monotheism, and that monotheism is a cause for the expiation of sins. It is connected to "virtue", Meaning: and the chapter on what expiates sins. Well, what it expiates of sins is actually one of the effects of His virtue, that it expiates sins. One of the virtues of monotheism is that it is the greatest aid to the desire for obedience. Because the monotheist always desires obedience. Because he works for whom? For Allah Almighty. The one who does not believe in monotheism only acts where he finds his desires. Suppose Allah forbid that a person is a hypocrite, Remembering Allah hypocritically, praying hypocritically, and giving charity hypocritically.............
