TRIP REPORT | First Time on IndiGo's Beast! | Mumbai to Istanbul | IndiGo Boeing 777-300ER

Indigo Trip Report flying from Mumbai to Istanbul onboard one of the huge IndiGo's Boeing 777 on a lovely late-spring morning. A quite comfortable flight onboard the IndiGo Boeing 777, operated by Turkish Airlines. This is the most dense Boeing 777 with 537 seats. To put this number into perspective, the Turkish Airlines Boeing 777s have a total of 349! After a nice exploration and planespotting at Mumbai's Airport Terminal 2, we boarded the IndiGo Boeing 777 that would take us to Istanbul. The plane looks incredible, there are seats everywhere. Every little space is used to carry an extra passenger. IndiGo is the biggest low-cost airline in India, so this use of the plane makes total sense. We took off from Mumbai towards the sea and after a few turns we started our route to Istanbul. We crossed the Arabian Sea and flew over Oman and the UAE. After overflying Dubai, we continued towards Saudi Arabia, the Gulf os Aqaba, the Sinai Peninsula, the Suez Canal, Cairo, and then made a 90° turn in direct course to the Mediterranean sea, leaving the Nile river mouth on our right, flying towards Antalya. From there, we flew in direct course towards Istanbul, where we landed a few minutes after the scheduled time of arrival. I must say it was an unforgettable experience. For sure not the best I ever had on a plane, but for sere I will always remember the day the I flew on a 537-seat plane! Now it's your turn! Have you ever flown with Indigo? Which route?
