Junkyard axles to be specific. This is some basic info on some of the most popular front axles out there, Dana 30s, Dana 44s and Dana 60s. The goal of this video is to help you decide which axle is best for you and your rig! This video is based purely on specifications of these axle and MY recommendations to have a reliable rig. Yes I know you probably have run 40s on your Dana 30 without a problem, that's sick, I wouldn't. The specific axles I talk about in this video are: Dana 30s - Commonly found in your xjs, tjs, yjs, zjs, wjs, etc. Dana 44s - Commonly found in xjs, tjs, yjs, zjs, wjs, jks, jls, f250s, etc. Dana 60 - Commonly found in many full size trucks, although the specific generation Dana 60 I talk about in this video is found in 1999-2004 Ford trucks. There is so much info out there when it comes to axles, I definitely missed some of it. Feel free to add some info in the comments! I decided not to go into modifications that can be done to these axles in this video, Trusses, Gussets, Sleeves, Lockers ETC. Let me know if you would like to see that in a future video! **Yes I misspoke when saying 10.25, that rear axle is a 10.5!** As always thank you for watching! The Backcountry Beagles.
