SQL Payroll - How to key in opening for new join employees (Form TP3)

in this video I'll show you how to key in opening balance for new join staff. As per Malaysia Inland Revenue Board (IRB) requirement, employee who newly joined the company during the year shall submit TP3 Form to his/her new employer to notify income relating to his employment with previous employer in the current year. After receiving the TP3 form from employees, you need to enter the previous remuneration under Payroll opening. In this example, the new employee starts in May 2022 and works with previous employer from January to April 2022, hence the TP form 3 contains info from January to April 2022. Next, I'll show you how to key in opening balance for new join employee in SQL Payroll. Go to payroll, open payroll, right click on empty area, new payroll opening, pay year enter current year, click on 'ok'. double click the new join employee. Now you can enter the opening balance based on the employee's TP form 3, such as normal remuneration, normal EPF, normal pcb, and so on. When you're finished, click the'save' button.
