Un-Official Analysis of Delta 4819 Crash in Toronto by 40-Year Aviator, Michael 'Rocket' Blackstone

Michael "Rocket' Blackstone describes what he believes to be the UNOFFICIAL LIKELY causes of Delta 4819 (Endeavor) on the 17th of February 2025 in Toronto, Canada. I now understand that the likely pilot flying the aircraft was 26-year old Kendal Swanson who received her ATP on 1/9/2025 and had just under 1500 hours this is allowed under the Restricted ATP rules when the airman had completed training from specific approved flight schools. It is also believed at this time that she may have been operating this flight during her IOE (Initial Operating Experience) under the supervision and care of Endeavor simulator instructor and Check Airmen CA James Henneman who was working the radio and was the Pilot-In-Command (PIC), acting as the Pilot Monitoring (PM) and may have been out of currency in the actual aircraft and was in need of some recent flying experience on the line to refresh his actual flying skills. This situation can occur due to very demanding training schedules at the regional airlines, as a result of our industry wide pilot shortage. This is not uncommon and normally is not unsafe - unless he was not capable of teaching in these conditions and saving the aircraft if it did not look safe or became unsafe at any moment. Please understand that this analysis is all very preliminary, has a large margin for error and I am simply sharing my aviation experiences, general aviation knowledge, skills and my personal opinions. The ideas presented here are my own based on my own personal flying experiences over the last 40 years as a professional pilot with vast amounts of experience flying many different types of aircraft in all weather conditions day and night in many countries. I am not claiming to have all of the answers. I am not an accident investigator. My hope is to help the public understand aviation a bit better. Please Lord bring them peace and guidance now and help them to know that with enough time, You will heal them, inspire them, forgive them, and protect them from the terrible thoughts and fears they must be feeling right now.
