Polymoog Vox Humana on FantomX

Remember the Gary Numan 1979 hit "Cars"? The warm fat string sound was actually preset one "Vox Humana" from a Polymoog Keyboard and was used in nearly every song on the pleasure 'principle' and 'telekon' albums. In 2007 I finally found a reconditioned polymoog keyboard owned by Mr Gelderland Leo. Sampling from the aux outputs, thus bypassing the filters only gives you that unique 'mr Numan' sound so I recorded long samples and looped them seamlessly. At first it was only available for the alesis fusion via Mr Howells site hollowsun but now you can download the samples for free at my site www.vstream.be in all major formats. This is the Roland FantomX version with a touch of reverb and moderate attack. The phaser version als sounds absolutely astonishing too.
