Is There Anything Wrong With You? 36:45 ►Vinyl LP: https://viralage.bandcamp.com/merch Sloppy, dirgey punk from Leeds here. I guess the closest analogue would be Kilslug/Groinoids, being as they similarly trawl greasy depths of grot both musically and lyrically. There's a real sarcastic snidey tone to everything here and lyrically it's fucking class ("I Will Let You Wank Soon", "Get Big, Do Some Weights"); Poundsavers tales of tracky bottoms, Aldi's own brand fizzy juice, recorded in a manky wee flat above a Presto's. Kinda like an even more retarded later Flag, there's moments of crawling Sabbath-dirge metal and driving dirge punk; opener "I Drink Piss" totally brings to mind the last line-up of The Fall, and this is the closest thing I've heard to successfully take the piss out of shit British culture since MES. Extra points to possibly the best cover art of any record I've ever released. My nephew was in the house when I got the box of records home and now there's a four year-old wee boy with a muscley Sonic the Hedgehod/granny guy getting stabbed by an egg-heided duck on his bedroom wall.
