Mid shot interview 5. SOUNDBITE (Russian) Borislav Milosevic, Slobodan Milosevic's elder brother and former Yugoslav Ambassador to Russia "This court (ICTY) has no authority. It does not allow appellations. Basically, it is a political court set up to judge the Serbs for crimes committed by those who bombed them (the Serbs), for crimes committed by NATO." 6. Milosevic during the interview 7. SOUNDBITE (Russian) Borislav Milosevic, Slobodan Milosevic's elder brother and former Yugoslav Ambassador to Russia "It is not Slobodan Milosevic who goes on trial in the Hague - it is the Serbian state and all the Serbs. Serbs have to answer for crimes committed by others." 8. Mid shot interview 9. SOUNDBITE (Russia) Borislav Milosevic, Slobodan Milosevic's elder brother and former Yugoslav Ambassador to Russia "The whole court is a show. If they don't manage to prove their accusations, they will convict him (Slobodan) on say, illegal crossing of the street or something. During the court appearance earlier he wasn't even allowed to speak, his microphone was turned off. True, the British judge at the court has promised that he will be allowed to speak at the session. Tomorrow will show if that is true." 10. Protest in support of Slobodan Milosevic 11. Poster 12. Various of protest STORYLINE: Slobodan Milosevic will appeal to the international community when he goes on trial for alleged war crimes before the U-N War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague on Tuesday, Milosevic's brother says. Speaking in Moscow on Monday, Borislav Milosevic, former Yugoslav ambassador to Russia, said his brother would also protest against the court, which he doesn't recognise as legitimate. Borislav Milosevic said the court was "concocted" with the purpose of convicting his brother. He said certain world leaders were seeking his conviction to justify their bombing of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo crisis in 1999. Defending his brother's actions in Kosovo, Borislav Milosevic said the Serb forces were fighting groups which were linked to international terrorism, including Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network. He claimed bin Laden visited Kosovo in 1998. Meanwhile, in Moscow, several dozen of Milosevic supporters staged a protest outside the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The demonstrators denounced the War Crimes Tribunal and the Russian government for their lack of support for the former Yugoslav leader.
