TIS Lockhart River Family Colour Day and Movie Night

Recently the Tackling Indigenous Smoking team have worked with Cape York communities to develop videos of local champions sharing their real-life quit smoking stories. A couple of weeks ago the TIS team were excited to launch these powerful videos back to the Lockhart River community. Joining up with the Lockhart River Youth Group and Puuya Centre, the TIS team hosted a Family Colour Day and Movie night to share the final videos for the first time to the community, to formally thank those involved, and to yarn about why it’s important to stay smoke free!
