A criminal and drug crime boss was jailed for 10 years his part in a huge county lines drug operation gave police a ludicrous excuse when he was questioned about his bank account by officers. Shakeel Khan and Mohammed Asim ran the ‘Jay’ line supplying drug users across Birmingham and Warwickshire with cocaine and cannabis. Officers found photos of Asim posing with thousands in cash in a car as they examined thousands of phone during an investigation into the drug dealing operation in 2020 and 2021. They raided addresses across Birmingham, arresting the seven-strong group. mohammed asim also posed with £20,000 in a car. the gang had multiple properties that were treated as stash houses. drugs were transported. repackaged, bulked and then. shipped away.
