Locos : Hubli [UBL] WDP4 20065 & 20035 Long Hood Trains : [17307] Basava Express(onboard) & [16534] Bangalore City - Bhagat Ki Kothi Express (Name plates still points to Jodhpur) Place : Bangalore City Junction [SBC] - Yeshwantpur Junction[YPR] Date : 23rd November, 2014 Please watch it till the end! Presenting to you the Mother of all Parallel actions at SWR! It is very very rare to see simultaneous departure and simultaneous arrival at South Western Railway! Was lucky to capture the whole event! :) At first, line was cleared for BGKT Express later when it departed line was cleared to Basava Express. To my luck BGKT express was stopped because of chain pulling! And everything else is what you see... :D Both trains had to clear 20KmpH TSR under Bangalore METRO rail bridge, after clearing both train starts accelerating madly! 20035 with BGKT Express having more load compared to 20065 with Basava, accelerated in no time and gave a tough competition to 20065! Since the BGKT Express was taken on Loop(PF-1) at YPR it had to slow down for 20KmpH. PS: Both trains skip Malleshwaram station LIKE A BOSS!
