Summer days are here and what better way to relax and beat the heat on that deck or patio than by sipping on a cool refreshing iced coffee. In this episode I'm doing everything by scratch. Now you could go out and buy the pre-made ingredients if you need to make one real quick but as you know that's not how we do things here on Bar Talk & Cocktails. In my opinion it just tastes better! So I will leave it up to you. You can make it as simple or as involved as you wish! Give a whirl at making your own Coffee Concentrate and Flavoured Whipped Cream. You won't regret it! ULTIMATE ICED COFFEE with BOOZE --------------------- IN A BLENDER COMBINE 1.5oz (45ml) - COFFEE CONCENTRATE 2 TSP (10ml) - RUNNY HONEY 1.5oz (45ml) - DARK RUM 1.5oz (45ml) - COINTREAU ABOUT 4oz -6oz - ICE -BLEND UNTIL CREAMY SMOOTH -POUR INTO 2 CHILLED 8oz (240ml) COCKTAIL GLASSES -TOP WITH WHIPPED CREAM AND SHAVED CHOCOLATE -GARNISH WITH A CHOCOLATE-COVERED ORANGE SEGMENT AND 3 COFFEE BEANS -------------------- BRUCE'S CONCENTRATED COLD BREW -------------------- -COARSE GRIND 2 CUPS OF DARK ROAST COFFEE BEANS -PLACE THEM INTO A NUT MILK BAG. -POUR 3 CUPS FILTERED WATER OVER THE BEANS. -COVER AND STEEP AT ROOM TEMPERATURE OR IN THE REFRIGERATOR FOR 24 HOURS. -PULL OUT THE NUT MILK BAG. -DON’T SQUEEZE THE BAG TOO HARD TO WRING IT OUT OVER THE COLD BREW.
