How I Fell in Love With Film Photography And What Happened Next - Talk at Webster University Geneva

Webster Geneva is the place where I discovered film photography back in 2010, so taking part in Meet The Artist lecture series felt incredibly special. I’m talking about how my love for film started, how I doubted whether it was a good idea, how I struggled with darkroom work and finding subjects for my photography, while sharing some stories behind my images. I’m also discussing the place of analog photography in the digital world, how cameras (35mm, twin lens, large format) affect your approach to image making, the tremendous importance of darkroom work, but also the importance of efficient communication with an audience.
