Complete Restoration of Vintage Pliers, Unique Restoration

I have numerous places now where find these little treasures and this one came from a Reclamation Yard in Lincolnshire, It is becoming a little harder to find things at the moment due to lockdowns but I hope you will be happy with the video I created restoring these simple Pliers. They looked a little sad sat there in the box so I thought why not, The Tare Down as you can see did not take long. I tried to be as thorough as I could, removing as much of the scratches to prepare it for the Nickle Plating. This was a much better result than I achieved on another project and they polished up nicely. The handles I decided not to replace with a modern set as they would not have been made this way originally, Instead I chose to use Plasti Dip which leaves a rubberised handle and I think this is more in keeping with the original design.
