This is a 1995 VHT Pitbull 50 12 converters into a head from a combo. It has four 12ax7 preamp tubes, 4 el84 power tubes, and an el84 tube powering the reverb. It came in powering up but no sound. It was discovered the 400 ohm dropping resistor between the plates and screens was toast. It was also biased way too hot with negative 12 volts on the grids. It got all the power amp and preamp tubes sockets solder touch up along with many suspect resistors and capacitors. The reverb tank was also repaired which contributed to a ton of popping sounds. There is inequality voltage on the plates and grids from both sides of the output transformer, which meant one side got biased really cold in order for one side to not being blazing hot, so it has some crossover distortion. But alas, because of budget and lack of support- this is all the service this amplifier will get.
