It covers the four districts of Andhra Pradesh: Kurnool, Ananthapur, Chittoor and Cuddapa. After being completed in two phases, it will flow from the project to a distance of 565 km irrigating 6 lac acres of land in the four districts of Rayalaseema in AP.
