You expected your resin to be solid and fully set by now, but instead it's still tacky and soft? It's a common problem, and in this video we break down the main reasons for resin not curing properly! 🌡 Temperature. Resin cures best at 22-25 degrees Celcius, and if it's too cold or too hot it won't harden properly. Keep the temperature of your workspace balanced for better results! You can use a space heater or work during warmer hours. 💧Unprepared resin. Pre-warm your resin before working with it! Place your resin and hardener bottles in warm water (below 40C, or 104F) for a few minutes. ⚖️ Incorrect measurements. Always double-check the required measurements before pouring, as there are different resin formulas that require different resin to hardener ratios! 🔁 Wrong mixing techniques. Make sure to mix your resin with hardener thoroughly for 3-5 minutes.
