Places Visited Harvard University MIT, MIT Media Lab Massachusetts General Hospital's Ether Dome Houston Museum of Natural Science NASA Johnson Space Center Intuitive Machines Limitless Space Institute Axiom Space ABOUT Humans In Space Youth Program Humans In Space Youth (HIS Youth) is a nationwide space science competition for K-12 students in Korea co-hosted by Boryung, a Korean healthcare investment company and KOSAC, Korea Foundation for Science and Creativity, supported by the Korea Ministry of Science and ICT. The HIS Youth competition has two divisions. One is a drawing competition and the other is a science research competition. Elementary school students participated in a drawing competition with the overarching theme, “imagining a day on the ISS,” and middle school to high school students participated in a research competition on “possible health issues and its solutions while staying on the ISS for a year”. In the 2024 HIS Youth program, 800 students and teachers across South Korea participated in the HIS Youth program. As a result, twenty finalist teams from the drawing competition and three finalist teams from the research competition were selected as winners. The research competition finalists got to visit the places shown in this video in November 2024.
