2024 Skybox Masterpieces Monster Edition Trading Cards Box Break Daniel Horne

Another set review! This time we are looking at Upper Decks latest contribution to the Masterpieces series. 2024 Skybox Masterpieces Monster Edition is a fun addition to the Masterpieces legacy. (Referred to as "Monsterpieces" going forward). The featured artist for this 90 card, 60 pt set is Daniel Horne. Because it's a Masterpieces set we do have a rough idea of what to expect from this set: This set has four tiers serial numbered /1999, /1099, /499, and /99. There are artist autograph parallels of the base set. Silver Spectrum /25 and Red Spectrum 1/1. The Monster Poster Variant series also has the same four tiers with slightly different numbering of /1499, /999, /299, and /50. There are also artist autograph versions of these cards /10. Preliminary Art Variants mirror the base set and give us a look at the pencils behind the art. The Gold Signature parallel series appears and is also tiered, but not serial numbered. Epic Purple /199 and Legendary Orange /35 also return. Framed Masterpieces parallels the base set and are available in three levels: Silver /49, Gold /25 and Black 1/1. There are nine Lenticular cards. These fall 1:144 Monster Matchups are one per box and come in a base and Gems parallel /99. Metallurgy returns in this set and they are numbered to the usual /25. Holofoil comes in base, Speckle /99 and Kaleidoscope /10. Sketch Cards are 1:48 This is a fun set and a must for fans of creepy, monsters, horror, or cryptids.
