So a week or so ago I watched Gabe Miller make some Drum and Bass on a Novation Circuit. Was a pretty good video with some nice ideas but there was something missing for me. When I was a young man our Drum and Bass consisted much more of cut up loops than individual hits and though the Circuit is not perfect as a sampler there are a couple of tricks you can use to help you make something a bit more old school and ruff.
