Make your way through a variety of hand-crafted 3D dioramas, look for useful objects, find hidden clues and solve fun puzzles! Unravel this mysterious adventure about chaos, order and the surreal. Release Date: Unknown Developer: Big Loop Studios Publisher: Snapbreak Games AB Platforms: PC, iOS, Android Genres: Puzzle ---------------------- Doors-Paradox presents an escape game comprised of 58 engaging puzzle rooms. Each room features a 3D door frame that can be rotated and explored to uncover the puzzle elements. Your objective within each room is to solve these puzzles, ultimately unlocking the door and progressing to the next location. Each room is self-contained, offering a unique challenge and requiring thorough exploration to uncover its secrets. The main shortcoming of the game however is that the puzzles predominantly lack any sort of challenge, and you can expect to clear even the final level in under 5 minutes. Many of the puzzles too reuse basic ideas, or occasionally require outright repetition. Additionally, a number of the puzzles aren't really sensical or grounded in logic, but there are decent options built in for hints and skipping levels that avoid the game getting frustrating. The story wrapped around the game too feels inconsequential and bland. That said, the game has many positive aspects that make it enjoyable and satisfying to play. Crucially, the gameplay remains smooth and intuitive, avoiding frustration, while seamlessly managing a variety of interactions, all accomplished solely using a mouse. Despite the repetition, there is still plenty of variety and creativity in the puzzles, and there is plenty of content spread across the 5 hour playtime. The art style and music too are charming and each level manages to feel unique. In summary, the puzzles strike a good balance between being fun and just challenging enough to feel rewarding. The structure and level length make it a great game to hop in and out of, and the game length feels about right, given the amount of content. The challenging problems however are memorable, so I don't feel there is much replay-value.
