Barry worked out the melody with keyboard player Blue Weaver, though he is not credited officially as a songwriter. That's why I love this song : the piano makes both structure and harmony of the song. As usual the talent of a great but invisible arranger (Blue Weaver) plays a significant part of the final success. As there are a lot of instruments in the original song, I arranged it for one lead voice and one keyboard (on Clavia Nord, choose the "Ep n°2" sound, which is close to Fender Rhodes). I added some chords like 9#11 and m11 to improve transitions, and I give you all the details in the tuto part at 03:05. One last tip : don't try to play the melody, just sing it!
