Uyuni, Bolivia Vlog | Crossing The Atacama Desert In SNOW
This is part 2 of the our tour out of Uyuni, Bolivia. The vlog shows us crossing the Bolivian side of The Atacama Desert. This region is known as one of the most arid and driest places on earth! Surprisingly, on our way across we were slammed with a whiteout SNOW STORM!! It was incredible and honestly a little scary. We were hours into the desert and easily in the most remote areas either of us have ever been. After 8+ hours of riding in a 4x4 we arrived to our lodging for the night at the hot springs. The next day was another 3 hours to the Chilean Border. When we arrived to Uyuni we booked a 3 day tour of the Salt Flats & Desert that would lead us to crossing into Chile. We highly recommend doing it this way as you can save a lot of money and get exactly what you are looking for out of the tour. As this was a 3-day adventure this video is part 2.
