Hit the surf in search of POMPANO and it didn’t go exactly as planned, but still a great day with some friends fishing down PINS! We caught all kinds of species using dead shrimp, FISHGUM, & cut ladyfish. I even caught my very 1st PALOMETA also known as a Greater Pompano, did some research and found out they are not too common here in Texas so definitely a cool catch! Once this weather clears up we’re gonna go back out and get that 🔥 POMPANO vid for you guys!
