Latymer uses an EU-certified E-glass fiber yarn with high tensile strength. The technological process of fiberglass mesh manufacturing consists of three main phases. The first and second phases are warping and weaving. Hundreds of bobbins with fiberglass yarn pass the stage of warping from the creel to warp beam. After that, the warp beam is put in a professional loom where the weft yarn (fiberglass roving) is being inserted and woven fiberglass mesh is formed. To obtain reinforcing mesh the third phase - impregnation - is very important. The woven material (loom state mesh) is charged into a special impregnating-drying machine and is polymerized by a unique alkali-resistant dispersion which significantly increases its tensile strength. After processing, the dried mesh is wound into rolls. The production capacity of the plant allows producing 835 rolls of high-grade mesh per day. Quality is guaranteed by the control system! Products and production quality control system are confirmed by awards and certificates of European compliance (ETA, FPC). The company has implemented ISO 9001 management standards.
