A fabulous hyper-motard styled 125cc motorcycle, the Zontes ZT125-U1 LCD is derivative of the standard U1 model, featuring LCD display. Finished in satin blue livery with gloss orange wheels, it delivers performance to the limit of learner legal regulations in the UK. A perfect blend of style, performance and technology. Traditional keys have been replaced by transponder fob and electric switches. The fuel filler cover, seat lock and steering lock are all controlled electrically. Buttons are distributed on the left and the right handlebars, which facilitates rider control but a single press. The latest generation Zontes steering lock has a more compact mechanism, better shock resistance, automotive grade materials, secure lock algorithms and a faster action. Combined this makes the steering lock safer and more reliable. The dual-channel Bosch ABS system allows the rider to calmly control the motorcycle in any unexpected situation. The ABS system brings confidence under heavy braking, especially in adverse weather and on unstable road surfaces. 300mm front brake discs provide huge stopping power and a linear feeling under braking. Automotive grade LED lights projected from an aluminium die-cast shell, produces outstanding illumination field of vision. The lamp unit is designed to dissipate heat to prolong LED life and reduce luminaire decay. A centrally mounted mono shock softens the ride whilst delivering excellent control. Filled with high pressure nitrogen to ensure stability over long journeys and set with a small amount of pre-load, the rear suspension offers excellent comfort with reduced rider fatigue. Big-block adventure styled tyres from CST operate exceptionally well in all weather conditions. Reinforced tyre carcasses prove resilient to punctures and run tubeless. Accessory bars with fitted crash bungs are supplied as standard for enhanced safety and protection. Often seen in larger capacity, high performance models, Zontes introduce a slipper clutch to their latest 125cc models. The movement feels lighter in the hand and if a gear change is mis-timed so as engine and road speed differ hugely, the slipper clutch softens the blow.
