This was the Grand Finals of the 8th tournament of Season 1 of DoubleDownVGC. My opponent was alexqian123 who had defeated me in the Winner's Bracket, so this time I had to fight my way through the Lower Bracket. As a result, things were a bit different this time. I needed to defeat Alex in 2 best-of-3 sets to take the crown. There were plenty of mind-games going into this set since we had played each other plenty of times before with the exact same team. Alex did make one noticeable change to his team which is that Tapu Koko, instead of the Clefairy which he previously had on his team. It's definitely an exciting set, so check it out!
