The 2025 Day of Dance in the Oxfordshire village of Adderbury marked 50 years since the revival of one of the morris traditions that had survived into the early 20th century. Tim Radford, one of the co-founders of the Adderbury Morris Men, had come from America to celebrate. At points during the day he told stories of the revival, including during a ceremony to honour the women who had preserved the knowledge of the tradition, Janet Blunt and Winnie Wyatt. This short, unplanned film features some of the performances from the day, including a new dance developed from an idea by Tim, to a tune by Chris Leslie - a founder member of the side. Tim Radford died of cancer in January 2026; the continuation of dancing in one of the original Cotswold morris villages is his very strong legacy. His son and daughter are both seen dancing in the film: both are active in the wider morris. The dances featured are: My Sweet Jenny Jones Jockey to the Fair (fiddle jig by Chris Leslie) Adderbury Gold (premiere performance - it was unnamed at the time) The Buffoon The Lollipop Man (performed by second-generation dancers).
